Six months ago today, December 10, which ALSO happened to be a Friday, guess where I was? In brain surgery! It's incredible to look back and see how far things have progressed in six months. I testify that miracles happen today, and they have truly happened in my life. I'm so grateful for the Lord's many tender mercies. As I sat in the temple tonight, I felt so blessed to be there again, rather than in a hospital bed. I have energy. I can work full time again. I have retained my memory. I can still see out of one eye! My right eye has opened so much, and it's "tracking like crazy" as one fellow temple worker commented tonight. :)
I've thought more about the word "Remember" lately, and how very important it is. I need to be humble and grateful for all these miracles, and remember the many wonderful lessons I've learned in this journey. I'm still mindful of the many sweet people who have offered their love and support to me. And I still pray for the true Christlike charity that many others have shown me. I'm so grateful to be where I am now! Hooray!!
