Janelle is still working hard on getting better. She's been pretty sick to her stomach the last few days and doesn't want to eat much, if anything. She's also still in a lot of pain. The nurses and doctors think she's having a reaction to the narcotics so they are trying to figure things out on that front. They've started to switch up her meds and that has already helped a lot with her desire to eat, which is positive. It's also hard for her to smile much because the muscles in her face are still pretty sore from the surgery. But you know Janelle - you can't keep a smile off of her face for too long!
But again, for her sake, we ask that visitors be kept to a minimum, especially while she's in the hospital. If you do visit, please keep it to five minutes or less. Janelle would love to chat longer, but she's physically exhausted right now and five minutes is about all she can handle. She loves you - she truly does! - but right now she needs to focus on sleeping and getting better as quickly as possible. Your e-mails, cards, text messages, etc., are all welcome and appreciated!
We hope she gets to go home in the next few days, but until she's feeling better and can eat on a more regular basis, they'll probably keep her in the hospital. Please continue to keep her in your prayers!

Thank you Laura for your great update. Tonight she is feeling better... we just hope it lasts and that the nausea and bad head pain stays away. The doctors here are super great and helped us so much.... from surgeons to endocrinologists. We've been very blessed!
