Latest Update

After doing the post below, my mom sent me another update. She's doing MUCH better! Here's what my mom had to say:

Janelle is doing so much better tonight! Her pain is finally down to a 1 out of 10. She's ready to go to sleep for the night. The nausea has subdued so she has felt like eating this afternoon. We had a rough couple days with some intense pain and overwhelming sickness which could have been from the pain in her head. We had a comforting and reassuring visit from the IMC endocrinologist this afternoon. Her diabetes has been an issue in this whole recovery process. His comments, input and understanding gave us so much hope and reassurance. She is still receiving IV fluids, but we hope to say good-bye to those tomorrow and head for home. Hopefully everything will be lined up for that so the doctor can give us the go ahead to go home. We so appreciate all your faith and prayers, thoughts and concerns in her behalf. We have felt loved. Thank you so much. I'll let you know tomorrow night if we make it home.
