Life is wonderful, and although challenging, can be enjoyed when we realize how much we are given with this amazing restored church, the power of the Priesthood being one of those great things.

A Blessing: Blessings!
For many reasons, I was quite emotional and vulnerable all day on Sunday. I had to accompany a musical number, conduct Relief Society (and felt out of sorts as I did), and visited an old boyfriend to drop off and pick up some things that belonged to each other. I hesitate to say I have had diabetes, financial, health, and life plan dilemmas and challenges on my mind a lot. I am so blessed to be surrounded by wonderful people, ready to help. I am so grateful for insights from God through the scriptures and the temple. And a few days ago, I was again grateful for such wonderful parents who listen to me, over and over again. I realized that after having already taught school for two weeks, I haven't yet received a father's blessing for the school year. My dad is great to listen and understand what I'm feeling and going through before giving me a blessing. That was great to share what has been weighing me down. I hate to burden others, but they want to know it all, and seem to help in just the way I need. Is that great or what!?! The father's blessing my dad gave me was so comforting and encouraging, and this week I have gained peace, confidence, and greater insight and direction for the future. A little more "umph" to endure to the end! Ironically, I have been studying 2 Nephi 31 this week too! There are many great footnotes and cross-references to verse 20.
