This morning as I was reading in the book of Mark, I noticed what I had written in the margins earlier. Christ performed many miracles, and the purposes of those miracles was to: 1- Show Compassion, 2- Build and Confirm Faith, and 3- Show His Divinity and Power. There is a purpose to the trial and miracles we have seen through things the last while. (Pardon me for indulging in some thoughts, but I've been thinking I should write a few more of the things here that I write in my journal, and this is it for today!) The Lord may have had a purpose for me to see these miracles come about. I have definitely felt more of the Lord's love and compassion for me, my faith has been strengthened, and I have seen and felt of His power! I have also had people tell me they have been inspired and strengthened, and it's awesome to think how the Lord works to build all of us.
I still have headaches, a little bruising, and an eye that can't see or open, but I have felt so very blessed and seen God's hand. I have felt a closeness to the Savior that is hard to describe-- before and after surgery-- of the arms of the Savior around me. I am also learning a lot about patience, faith, and being positive and grateful.
My parents are the best! And that's not to mention the siblings, nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors!
