Well, it has been a whirlwind couple of months-- eventful and productive! I would be more diligent about updating my blog, but I'm afraid there are only a few who actually read it. Nevertheless, I will attempt to "journal" in this online way, if only for my benefit! :)
March- Off track, finished my master's portfolio-- 80+ pages!, and enjoyed time with family!
April- Enjoyed General Conference and endured a snowy April in Utah! I had a blast with my sisters and mom at Women's Conference as well!
May- Lots has happened so far!! On the 1st, I graduated with my Master's Degree at SUU, and enjoyed doing the official "walk" on their campus in Cedar City! Karolee and I got a hotel for one night, and my parents and sister Laura all drove down with me and stayed in the hotel room next door! It was a gorgeous day, and I felt a happy sense of accomplishment. On the 5th (Cinco de Mayo), I had a celebration for finishing my master's at the clubhouse near my home. It also happens to be my birthday, so it was fun to be with friends and family to celebrate it all! It was also teacher appreciation week, and my room mom really spoiled me this year! Lots of flowers, cards, gift cards, treats (sugar-free!), the kids all wore my favorite color turquoise, and school supplies for my classroom! Mother's Day was wonderful, my mom called it a "perfect day." I've been busy reviewing testing all week with my students, and it feels like they have made some great progress this year-- I just fear it may not be enough! But all I can do, is all I can do, right?
I am feeling the pressures and stress of next year coming on quickly, but still making it through with great support from those around me, the blessing of working at the temple, and lots of prayer and help from the scriptures! I know that Heavenly Father hears my daily prayers in behalf of teaching my students well and thinking what will help them improve.
Not too many pictures, but here are a few!
