I had a GREAT teacher appreciation week last week, with my birthday in the middle of it! I love how my birthday falls on teacher appreciation, because it feels like I celebrate my birthday all week! It was nice getting messages, phone calls, and invites for get-togethers, realizing that people do care and remember me! The students at school brought cute cards, flowers, "treats" (my version-- apples, oranges, bananas, nuts), and class school supplies! I got a few fun gifts too.
Well, I best be off. Here's a few of the things on the big list lately, (if no one reads or cares, for my own journal-keeping, right?)
-School Choir Concert next week
-Several practices and a big performance for the Youth Temple Celebration at the Conference Center downtown. I love working with those youth!
-Two new teachers to meet with for Relief Society
-A wedding and a baby shower to plan/help with
-Speaking at the VT Conference in a couple Sundays
-Classroom Talent Show for their parents
-Get my new Driver's License (oops, it expired on my birthday!)
-Pay for Summer semester of master's classes
-Accompany a young woman in our ward for a musical number, & play for the ward choir
-And don't forget... do my visiting teaching!

Sheesh! You're a busy girl! It's a good thing you exercise - you need it to keep up your pace! Good luck with everything. The talent show sounds the funnest and wish I could come!
And don't forget to go have a slightly adventurous evening with your baby brother and family! That was fun having you come along for our weird little adventure, breaking into houses and such.
That was adventurous! Thanks for the awesome Scentsy scents, super-sweet Sariah! And Laura, if you want to see a "Daybreak Idol" talent show our school did, you can see me and the 3rd grade teachers in action! Hilarious! :)
Wow! Busy, busy, busy... that's great that you are helping out with the Temple Celebration! Our ward is involved too- i have loved going to the practices...it's going to be amazing!
